Job Description

100% FTE, day shift. Hours are mainly during normal business hours but will require presence at times during off shifts. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Direct the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care programs.
  • Lead the day to day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
  • Direct and evaluate the departments workforce, in terms of staff scheduling and performance.
  • Prepare and administer revenue budget, operating budget, volume projections, and oversight for FTE's.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN).

Preferred - Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience. Demonstrated progressive leadership experience.

Preferred - Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience within same or relevant practice area.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - RN Licensed in State of Wisconsin.

Preferred - Certification in relevant specialty.
