Iteris is seeking an Incident Management Operations (IMO) Coordinator to support our 24-hour Traffic Operations Center. Using cutting-edge technology, the ideal candidate will be monitoring traffic incidents across North America. We are currently hiring for all shifts, with flexible schedules that can start as early as 4:30am and end as late as 9:30pm, weekdays and weekends. Because we monitor real-time traffic, our shifts tend to be non-traditional, so if you're flexible and aren't looking for a typical 9-to-5, this job may be right for you. This entry-level position will be full-time (40 hours per week). A strong candidate will be local to the Madison area with data entry and reading maps, and candidates from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Position is currently hybrid/remote, but may eventually report to our office in Middleton, WI.

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively enter, edit, and monitor traffic incident information derived from Iteris data feeds, live traffic probes, review of cameras, online traffic reports, social and commercial media, police/fire scanners, and other sources
  • Communicate with local agencies regarding traffic incident information
  • Report Iteris system performance and feed reliability issues
  • Document and maintain traffic incident records as required
  • Other tasks as may emerge from time to time

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required
  • Experience using Windows, MS Office, and popular mapping applications/services a plus
  • Some experience [about 1 year] relating to position [i.e. operations center, IT/Helpdesk, or quality assurance roles] a plus

Iteris anticipates paying between $19.00 and $22.00 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
