Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Bring your expertise to UW Health and oversee and manage the workforce planning team.

We are seeking a Director, Workforce Strategy to:

  • Build and foster partnerships with organizational leaders on workforce planning strategy and resourcing requirements.
  • Prepare executive level reports and presentations.
  • Establish best in class processes and standard practices for the entire workforce planning function to enable each leader to tailor workforce planning by each operational area.
  • Lead change management processes.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area such as healthcare administration, business administration or human resources management

Preferred - Master's degree in a relevant subject area such as business administration, leadership development, human resource management or organizational development

Work Experience:

Minimum - Five (5) years relevant leadership and management experience

Preferred - Experience in a large academic or complex health program; experience in complex industry or organization; experience with talent, human capital or strategy consulting

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred - PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP
