Amcor, the global leader in flexible packaging solutions, has announced plans to invest $25m to update its facilities in Madison, WI in 2018. The expansion will include new machinery and updates to existing infrastructure and will help Amcor’s Madison plant expand its service offering to customers in the medical, pharmaceutical, food, and  some/personal care sectors. 

To support the expansion plans, Amcor Flexibles Madison is hosting an on-site job fair on Saturday, January 27 to fill more than 20 open roles at the factory, including entry-level and highly-skilled manufacturing positions as well as several professional-level opportunities.

“Amcor is on track to grow rapidly in 2018,” said Timm Goodmanson, General Manager – Amcor Flexibles Madison. “We need great team members to help us achieve our potential. The January 27 job fair at Amcor is part of Amcor's ongoing efforts to strengthen Madison's manufacturing workforce. Amcor partners with local organizations like the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the Workforce Development Board of Southcentral Wisconsin to invest in developing local people and foster local economic growth.

Applicants should be prepared to discuss their interests and qualifications. Immediate interviews will be available following an initial screening.

Printing Press Operators and Assistants, Extrusion Operators and Assistants, Slitting Operators and Assistants, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, Ink/Adhesive Technicians, Electrical Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Coordinator, Customer Service, and Engineering.
